THORNTON CENTRAL PRECINCT

Directly adjacent to the train station, just metres from the 7th largest Westfield in NSW and surrounded by more than 1000 retail stores, Thornton Central has been purposefully designed to be Penrith’s most exciting hub, and the cornerstone of the area’s flourishing CBD expansion.

In conjunction with joint venture partners St Hilliers, Thornton Central has seen the transformation of North Penrith into a vibrant, urban village style precinct with beautifully appointed 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and in excess of 4000 residents currently in-situ.

Thornton Central has set the standard for similar residential projects across Western Sydney with sophisticated and refined design incorporating communal public areas, surrounded by an array of green spaces creating a new, more liveable, community.

Furthermore, the proposed retail and commercial sites have been designed to feature world-class amenities including a gymnasium, medical centre, childcare, supermarket, retail outlets and eateries.

 

The project at a glance

  • Thornton Central is an exemplar of a mixed-use, transport oriented development directly adjacent to Penrith Station and comprising a total of 1050 apartments with a vibrant retail precinct designed to activate the existing station plaza.
  • The retail precinct is designed to deliver approximately 4,600sqm of supermarket and specialist retail and 2,400sqm of commercial space including a medical centre, gym and childcare.
  • To date, 546 apartments have been 100% pre-sold and completed across the first 4 stages. Future stages are planned to deliver another 553 apartments in two landmark towers that will establish the future skyline of Penrith.

A multi-story residential building with 151 spacious one and two-bedroom apartments. Featuring quality architecturally designed apartments by award-winning firm, DKO Architecture and interior designer Jonathan Richards from SJB Interiors.

Directly adjacent to the train station, with express trains taking only 23 minutes to Parramatta and 49 minutes to the Sydney CBD, Thornton Central is the catalyst to Penrith's much-acclaimed economic and population growth.

Centurion consists of 191 residential units across three towers up to eight levels, in 1, 2 and 3 bedroom configurations and the first high rise residential apartment and retail precinct to be built in Penrith’s city centre. Designed by DKO architects, these light and airy homes sold out in less than five hours with a strong contingent of first home buyers.

Centurion is the catalyst to Penrith’s much-acclaimed transformation, master-planned by UrbanGrowth NSW.

Sheffield or, the Garden included the development, design and construction of over 200 sophisticated 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments across two towers up to 10 storeys. Each apartment has been architecturally designed by award-winning architect, Group GSA across the 2 buildings.

For the first time in Penrith, double level loft-style Penthouses were available to the market. These units feature floor to ceiling double height glazing and all of the carefully selected finishes one has come to expect from Thornton.
